Ingredients: 10 fresh, ripe strawberries, cleaned and trimmed; 3/4 cup dairy-free choc chips (or regular if you are ok with dairy); 1 TBSP coconut oil; 1 scoop NIyama Chocolate Plant Protein

Chocolate Covered Strawberries with Plant Protein

Not that chocolate covered strawberries need any improvement, but this version is all plant-based, dairy-free and packs a little protein-punch, without sacrificing any of the decadent taste of the originals.

Ingredients

10 fresh, ripe strawberries, cleaned and trimmed

3/4 cup dairy-free choc chips (or regular if you are ok with dairy)

1 TBSP coconut oil

1 scoop NIyama Chocolate Plant Protein

Directions

Combine coconut oil and choc chips in a microwave safe bowl (or small pot)

Microwave on high for 1 minute, adding 10 seconds if more time is needed to melt fully without burning

Add plant protein and mix to fully combine

Dip strawberries in the chocolate mixture and place ona parchment lined tray in fridge for an hour or until fully set
